Natalia graduated from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland in 2009 with a Masters degree in Physiotherapy. She then worked as a full time physiotherapist for 5 years before relocating to Perth in 2014 and continuing her private practice career.
Since then she has gained a wealth of experience in the assessment and treatment of a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. In 2014 Natalia became a credentialed McKenzie Therapist which has led to her special interest in treating acute, chronic and complex lumbar, thoracic and cervical pain that the McKenzie method is renowned
However, she has a special interest and a wealth of experience in Clinical Pilates. Natalia has completed reformer, small ball, post-natal and pregnancy Pilates training through Pilates International and this year became a certified DMA clinical Pilates instructor. Through her experience, training and pure passion Natalia is extremely skilled at using clinical Pilates as a very effective and powerful treatment method to achieve specific clinical outcomes. We are incredibly lucky to have Natalia take over a large portion of our Pilates program and have already needed to expand our class times to accommodate the increased demand.
Natalia’s high level of hands on skills has been complemented by her additional training and experience in remedial massage including lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage, foot and deep tissue massage. Natalia has a Diploma in Remedial Massage from the Australian College of Sports and Fitness and she is well versed in trigger point release and sports massage.
She has a passion for exercise, health and education based on which she loves creating and implementing graduated exercise rehabilitation programs geared towards helping people return to normal and enjoy their life again. In her spare time she has gone out and completed her Certificate III and IV in fitness.
Also, it is worth noting is her experience working in aged care and the skills and knowledge gained, particularly in assessing and treating elderly patients for falls risk and mobility issues. Working with and helping our more senior clients is something Natalia enjoys and finds very rewarding. She is really looking forward to taking over our Falls Prevention, Strength and Balance classes in the near future.
In her spare time Natalia enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with family and friends exploring her new home for the past 5 years, Perth. She enjoys dancing, keeping fit at the gym and doing Pilates for her own personal benefit.
