Can I claim benefits from my Private Health Fund?
Yes, at Kardinya Physiotherapy we provide an electronic rebate facility which connects directly with your health fund. This is the HICAPs system. Depending on your level of cover you will receive a rebate so all you need to pay is the gap.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Eftpos and cash.
Do I need a Doctor’s referral?
No, you do not need a referral from your doctor for private treatment. However, if the treatment is related to Workers’ Compensation or an Insurance Claim, you will need a referral from your treating GP.
Department of Veteran Affairs and their spouses require a referral from their doctor.
Clients with chronic and multiple conditions can request a referral called EPC from their GP if they are eligible.
We offer no out of pocket expense for any DVA, Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Insurance treatment.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
All appointments are made especially for you, therefore we do require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient. A DNA (Did not attend) fee will be charged if you fail to give adequate notice.
